Knoxville airport

Here I am sitting in the Knoxville airport waiting for my first flight. This is par for the course from what I remember of air travel: a lot of sitting around waiting. Of course, I have traversed the airport security, been shot with radiation from the body scanner, and had a large beer before 10 am in the airport bar.

Could you believe that a beer that would normally cost $4 at a normal bar costs $7 in the airport? Talk about a pointless markup! Maybe it is because the TSA has to strip search the keg to make sure that there is no weapons inside of that Miller Lite. That has labor cost, you know.

Anyway, McGee Tyson airport is pretty small. It is akin to the size of one terminal in a big airport. That means that there is nothing really to see.
